Step Into Texas History: From the Alamo to German Heritage
The Kuebler Waldrip Haus Bed and Breakfast places you in the heart of history, just a short drive from one of America's most iconic landmark the Alamo. Traditional b&b

It's rare to have businesses which seem to transcend time. This b&b does. If you remember how grandmother's house always had good food, books, games, and conversation, this will bring back those memories. Relaxing and timeless describe it. You will feel invited, cared for like extended family for your stay.

Home Away From Home
Posted by Erin Ward on Sep 6th 2025
A few years ago a group of ladies and I began staying here every summer for an annual girl’s River trip. We instantly fell in love. It’s a historic stay with the nostalgia of comfort as if you are going to grandma’s house. The included breakfast is amazing every time. There is toffee, drinks, ice cream, and cookies always available. Margie and her son Darrell are the owners and Margie lives on site. Every morning she visits with guests during breakfast and you learn a lot about the history of the property. Last summer Darrell rescued a fawn and bottle raised it. We had the pleasure of being able to help bottle feed it. I even took my 2 sons back later that summer and they also got to help feed it. A year later we go back for our girl’s trip and the deer was released, but still hangs around the property. His name is Fonzie and will come up to you like a dog. You get to pet and feed him. I can’t recommend Kuebler Waldrip Haus enough. In a week we are headed back for 4 nights to celebrate my parent’s 50th anniversary. If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like you have gone back in time to the peace and comfort of being at your grandmother’s house, this is definitely your go to home.
