In a medium-size bowl, sift together the flour, salt, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and ground ginger. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Add the flour mixture and stir until just blended. Heat electric griddle to 350 degrees and grease with butter. Use about ½ C of batter per pancake. Cook on both sides until pancakes are done.
